Can your existing slab be polished?
The concrete beneath carpet or tiles can be a starting point, but uncovering it is an investigation rather than a guarantee of a particular finish.

PERTHPOLISHED CONCRETE FLOORSCare for the details that show
Chips, damaged joints and cracks need a diagnosis before a cosmetic repair. A sensible repair scope considers both the visible mark and the condition around it.

Start with your space
A polished floor can still crack, chip, or lose its sheen in high-wear areas, but that doesn't mean the whole floor needs redoing. Polished concrete repair usually involves isolating the damaged section, filling or patching it, and re-polishing to blend back into the surrounding finish — a fraction of the cost and disruption of a full re-grind.
We inspect the full floor before quoting a repair, since isolated damage sometimes points to a wider issue worth addressing at the same time.
A little more clarity
Good decisions start with a clear understanding of your floor.
An invisible result cannot be promised. Aggregate, colour, age and repair material affect how a patch blends with the floor.
First establish whether the crack is stable and whether it has a structural cause. Some movement requires specialist investigation.
It may be repairable, but the joint’s movement function must be preserved. Scope the repair around the actual joint condition and use.
Chemical etching and physical loss of concrete are different problems. Identify the damage before choosing a treatment.
Preparation, colour trials, edge work and blending the surrounding sheen can outweigh the visible repair area.
Recurring movement needs investigation. A cosmetic patch does not remove the cause of a moving crack.

Concrete protection buys time; it does not make every spill harmless. Prompt, appropriate care is a better plan than relying on stain-proof claims.
