Can your existing slab be polished?
The concrete beneath carpet or tiles can be a starting point, but uncovering it is an investigation rather than a guarantee of a particular finish.

PERTHPOLISHED CONCRETE FLOORSFind the character beneath the wear
A dull floor does not always need a complete new finish. Identify the existing system and the cause of wear before choosing cleaning, re-honing or a broader restoration.

Start with your space
Polished floors dull over time from foot traffic, cleaning products, and general wear, but that lost shine is usually recoverable without a full re-grind from scratch. Polished concrete restoration re-hones the surface and reapplies densifier and sealer, bringing back the reflectivity and stain resistance the floor had when it was first finished.
We’ll assess your floor’s current condition first, since heavily worn or damaged floors sometimes need a partial re-grind rather than a straight restoration.
A little more clarity
Good decisions start with a clear understanding of your floor.
Not always. Some stains penetrate beyond the depth that can reasonably be treated. Trial work helps establish the likely improvement.
No. Residue or worn protection may be responsible. Start with diagnosis rather than assuming aggressive removal is needed.
That cannot be guaranteed. Existing wear, repairs and the available surface constrain the result; agree expectations from a trial.
Yes. A suitable cleaning trial can help distinguish residue from scratches or loss of surface refinement.
More aggressive removal may change what is visible. Agree the permissible treatment and expected appearance from a trial.
No universal treatment should be assumed. The existing system, trial outcome and selected product instructions determine the scope.
